About Sergio Alain Barrios (from website)
Sergio Alain Barrios moved to New York in 1994, quickly making a mark for himself as an astute observer of fashion trends and how they can inform and interact with timeless, classic design.
Over the course of his career, Barrios has worked with fashion greats like Oscar De La Renta, Carolina Herrera and Versace as well as with up and coming designers such as Victor De Souza and Jad Ghandour.
Barrios brings two decades of intimate knowledge of New York’s fashion world to bear, ranging from managing the nuts and bolts of a label’s fashion show to heading a small atelier.
After working for so many gaining valuable knowledge and learned lessons he feels the time is right to branch out on his own creating looks for men and women. “With the advent of social media and technology the playing field has changed in the fashion arena and I am excited about the possibilities!” quotes Sergio.
